A violation is Serious when a condition of Imminent Danger exists. Imminent Danger hazards are defined as those "causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm" and include amputations, broken bones, serious lacerations, loss of consciousness, chronic illness, etc. These are also the typical injuries and illnesses which result in lost workdays, permanent disability, and high expense. |
